Submergent for design.More time for the craft.

Hand off the busywork around design: research synthesis, UX copy, feedback round-ups and specs. Get back drafts, tables and pages you can share.

Try asking

Less busywork.More design.

  • Make sense of research

“Group the usability test notes in this folder into themes, with a quote for each.”

You get:Themes with supporting quotes, ready for your research readout.

  • Write friendlier UX copy

“Rewrite the error messages in copy.docx to sound calmer and clearer.”

You get:Edits made with tracked changes, so you accept the ones you like.

  • Round up feedback

“Collect the feedback on the new homepage from these notes and screenshots, and sort it by priority.”

You get:One prioritized list instead of five scattered threads.

  • Show the options

“Make a page that shows the three layout options side by side with pros and cons.”

You get:A live page in the conversation you can open full size and share.

  • Write the spec

“Turn my notes on the checkout redesign into a spec with goals, flows and open questions.”

You get:A Word document saved to your folder, ready for comments.

  • Plan a usability test

“Draft a usability test plan for the new onboarding with five tasks and how we'll know each one worked.”

You get:A plan you can edit, share and run.

How it works

From folder to answer. In three steps.

  1. 1

    Choose a folder

Any folder on your computer: notes, documents, spreadsheets and PDFs.

  2. 2

    Ask in plain words

Type what you need the way you'd ask a colleague. Attach screenshots if they help.

  3. 3

    Get it back

Answers, charts, pages and documents, right in the chat and saved to your folder.

Works with your files

The files youalready have.

  • Word documents
  • Excel spreadsheets
  • PDFs
  • Notes and text files
  • Images you attach

Word and Excel editing use the Documents and Spreadsheets plugins, downloaded the first time you turn them on.

Safe with real work

Your work stays yours. You set the pace.

  • Stays on your computer

Your files never leave your computer for us. What you ask goes straight to the AI provider you picked.

  • A plan first, if you want

Turn on Plan Mode to read the plan and approve it before anything changes.

  • You set the limits

Choose how much it can do on its own, from asking first to working freely.

Questions

Questionsdesigners ask.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You ask in plain words and get answers, documents and charts back. When you tell Submergent your role, Developer Mode, which shows the technical details, stays off unless you turn it on.

What do I need to get started?

A Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 14 or later, and an AI plan you already have, like Claude, ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot. The Providers page lists all seven.

Will it change my files?

Only in the folder you choose, and only as much as you allow. Turn on Plan Mode to see a plan and approve it before anything changes.

Does my work leave my computer?

Your files stay on your computer. What you ask, and the parts of files needed to answer, go straight to the AI provider you picked, under that provider's terms. Submergent never sees them.

Bring your research.

Open a folder, connect an AI plan you already pay for, and ask in plain words.
