Providers
Seven providers.Your accounts.
Connect the AI plans you already pay for. Submergent reuses each provider's own login, and everything you send goes from your computer straight to them.
| Provider | Connect with | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| GitHub Copilot | Your GitHub sign-in | Needs an active Copilot subscription |
| OpenAI Codex | Your ChatGPT sign-in or an API key | A pasted key is stored separately and never changes your own Codex setup |
| Cursor | Browser sign-in | Embedded SDK · Local and Worktree only |
| Claude Code | Your Claude sign-in | Uses your Claude plan from Anthropic |
| OpenCode | Your OpenCode sign-in | Submergent downloads it for you from Settings › Providers |
| Pi | Pi sign-in or API keys | Its own sign-in, or keys you set up in Pi |
| Ollama | Nothing to connect | Entirely local, on localhost:11434 |
How connecting works
We never sit betweenyou and your provider.
Your existing sign-in, reused
Already signed in to Claude Code or Codex on this computer? Submergent picks up that sign-in and uses it. There's no second login.
Keys stay in your Keychain
If a provider needs an API key, it's stored in the secure keychain on your computer. It's never sent to us.
Switch mid-session
Change provider or model partway through a chat. The conversation comes with you, and the next reply comes from the new model.
